CNC Miller – Nights in Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear

PermanentOur client is looking for a night shift CNC Miller to join their team in the Newcastle upon Tyne area.
You will be responsible for:
* Operating CNC Milling machines during the night shift.
* Setting up and programming the CNC Milling machines.
* Ensuring the accuracy and quality of the machined parts.
* Selecting the appropriate tools and materials.
* Monitoring the machining process.
* Conducting quality inspections, and making adjustments as needed.
* Collaboration with the team to meet production targets and maintain a safe working environment.
Ideally, you will have:
* Experience operating and programming Mazak CNC Milling machines.
* Knowledge of Mazak CNC programming.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Proficient in using precision measuring instruments.
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of machining processes and materials
* Relevant technical qualifications or certifications.
Please note that this is a night shift position, working hours will be 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Monday to Thursday.
For this role, our client is willing to pay between £23 and £26 including a shift allowance.
