ContractThe Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting a Senior Mechanical Engineer in any of the following sectors - Water, Energy, Defence, and Aviation to work on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on Iconic Engineering projects.
Start Date: ASAP
End date: 6-12 months
Hourly Rate: £50-£60
Hours per week: 40
Qualification required for this role: Chartered
Expenses: Yes - Site visits etc

Bring your skills to the mix as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a vital role in every aspect of mechanical engineering projects at home and abroad.
We specialise in all aspects of mechanical engineering, within multiple challenging and engaging sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development and Education. We continue to provide industry-leading mechanical engineering solutions right through the project lifecycle, with value added through client-side support as well as construction phases. Your Purpose
- Manage a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
- Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
- Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
- Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
What you can bring
- Chartered Mechanical Engineer
- Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
- Sound knowledge in mechanical equipment, such as pumps, blowers, screens and chemical dosing plant as well as an in-depth understanding of current UK design standards and working practices.
- Strong understanding of legislation such as CDM and ATEX.
