About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commissioning Technician to join our team at Sellafield Site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of the project, carrying out testing activities, and contributing to the production of test documentation. You will work closely with the engineering team and be responsible for performing testing activities for witnessing by third parties.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure Safety is the highest priority on the project with a continued strive towards Zero Harm
- Carry out all testing activities throughout all stages of commissioning.
- Contribute to the production of test documentation.
- Contribute to the initiation and implementation of FOBs and TQs
- Perform testing activities for witnessing by third parties.
- Apply and remove Temporary Commissioning Aids
- Contribute to the recording of supporting data in accordance with test requirements.
- Utilize completions management systems to manage commissioning activities.
- Perform commissioning work against a project schedule.
- Take part in multi-discipline design reviews and work with the engineering team.
What you need to Succeed
- Time served or equivalent in an engineering discipline, such as piping or electrical discipline.
- Preference for ONC or equivalent or route to achieve the qualification.
- Project commissioning experience
- Ability to obtain BPSS, P4 pass and achieve any other client security requirement.
