Overview:
My client is looking for a Quality Systems Specialist / Lead Auditor / Quality Engineer to join their state-of-the-art LGW Hangar facility.
You will support Base Maintenance, Converted Freighter modifications, and lead Audit and Personnel Board Approval activities.
Acting as the Lead Auditor in a team of 8 in a busy Part-145 approved facility, conducting 6-10 audits per month.
you must have strong paperwork and organisational skills and be focused on hitting targets

Experience:
5+ years in Line/Heavy/Base Maintenance or Aircraft Modification in a Quality role

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the Annual/Monthly audit program.
  • Lead authorisation for Engineering, Quality, Safety, and Stores personnel.
  • Support audit scope, schedule, and compliance plans.
  • Review systems, policies, and procedures, recommending improvements.
  • Investigate non-compliance, ensuring corrective actions.
  • Monitor reports, communicate trends, and evaluate closing activities.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities on quality and safety matters.
  • Produce internal reports and support data analysis for problem-solving.
  • Collaborate within local and wider teams.

Requirements:

  • Lead Auditor qualification
  • Ability to build and audit plans and conduct audits
  • EASA Part-145 Regulatory knowledge
  • Knowledge of EASA, CAA, FAA regulations.
  • Experience with regulators, safety, and compliance monitoring.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and computer skills.
  • Flexibility, proactive attitude, and willingness to travel.
  • Eligibility for LGW airside pass and right to work in the UK.

Desirable:

  • Human Factors expertise.
  • Safety and operational knowledge.
  • Q-Pulse experience.
  • Data analysis and metric development skills.
