Electrical Engineer in Gloucester, Gloucestershire

Our client, a global leader in aircraft systems, designs, tests, manufactures, and assembles systems for both Commercial and Military aircraft.

Role:
* Join the Test Services Team with your primary responsibility to implement and support electro-mechanical test systems.
* Reporting to a Test Engineering Group Leader.
* Demonstrate technical competence in electro-mechanical systems and data acquisition techniques.
* A willingness to expand your experience in qualification testing
* Develop electrical interface systems within the Test facility.
* Be the point of contact for electrical facility support.
* Opportunity for customer and supplier liaison and occasional foreign travel may be required.

Requirements:
* Time-served Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or BEng degree with relevant work experience.
* Strong understanding of electrical safety.
* Proficiency in electrical circuit design and installation.
* Experience with PLC/HMI programming and motor control.
* Familiarity with hydraulic circuit functionality and servo hydraulic systems.
* Knowledge of control systems, data acquisition, and instrumentation (advantageous).
* Task management skills and proficiency in MS Office.
* Excellent communication and supervision abilities.
