Exterior Lighting Engineer - Automotive

£280 per day

The Role:

• Deliver series and prototype automotive lighting electronics/software solutions.
• Develop lighting functions, systems, and architecture in collaboration with Group counterparts.
• Manage software releases and coordinate validation testing using both vehicles and hardware rigs.
• Support key business customers such as Production Planning, Certification, and Aftersales.
• Engage in feasibility and concept study activities, project planning, and FuSi requirements implementation.

Your Experience:

• Professionals with a solid background in Lighting Electronics / System Integration - preferably within the Automotive sector
• Individuals with excellent communication skills, capable of liaising effectively across R&D and Group partners.
• Self-starters who are comfortable working independently and possess a full driving license.
• Flexibility to travel internationally, sometimes at short notice
• Candidates with a degree in automotive electronics, electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with vehicle communications/architecture network (e.g., CAN, LIN, Flexray) and diagnostic tools (e.g., IDEX, ODIS) is highly desirable.
• German language skills are a plus but not a requirement.
