ARM has partnered with an Aerospace client who is looking for a Production Engineer to be based out of their manufacturing site in Bristol. As the Production Engineer, you'll be responsible for working closely with suppliers and linking up with the design team regarding on product change activities.

Responsibilities:
* Assessing machining details and assembly drawings for manufacturability.
* Support the introduction of major mods and new product introductions for key projects over multiple variants of aircraft.
* Providing support with regards to tooling reports, condition of supply, manufacturing specifications assessments, BoM comparisons, and general ME queries.
* Actively contributing to the continuous product development processes, by applying ME expertise in concurrent engineering and industrialisation projects.
* Manage risks and opportunities in an efficient and effective manner.
* Provide continuous support to the supplier regarding Drawing sign-off, Query Note validation, Tooling Asset Management etc.
* Understanding and influencing cost drivers of a particular product or work package. (Cost Down)

Experience required:
* Have experience working in manufacturing or production environment - ideally in Aerospace or automotive sectors.
* Have a good understanding of Cost Down for Production as well as continuous product development processes.
* Have experience with CAD drawings and interpreting drawings.
* Ideally hold a manufacturing or mechanical engineering qualification
