  • 4 days a week on-site 1 day at home
  • 12-month Contract
  • Negotiable Rate of Pay
  • 42 Hours Per week

About the Role:

The Energy Division at Advanced Resource Manager is currently looking for a Senior EC&I Engineer for a leading Civil Engineering Business, that offer services within the nuclear sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivery of EC&I design and engineering for area systems. Will be responsible for the production of design documentation as well as checking the work of other engineers & designers.
  • Responsible for coordinating with construction to respond to TQ's/PP's and concessions.
  • Responsible for coordinating with construction and commissioning to respond to FOB's and defect notices.
  • Representative for design on plant walk-downs, snagging, and general inspections

What You Need to Succeed

  • Hold a minimum HND or equivalent (Essential)
  • Degree Qualified (Preferable)
  • Have demonstrable experience in delivering nuclear EC&I design in a similar role/environment, with recent relevant exposure to work in the nuclear industry.
  • A self-starter with good communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience of taking a lead role in delivering engineering packages
  • Familiar with EC&I deliverables
  • Delivery of approved written work, i.e. technical specifications, and reports
  • Familiar with a pragmatic approach to the application of applicable standards and practices.
  • Experience in interrogating design in the context of assuring its fitness for purpose concerning design process, rigor, and functionality.
  • Experience of working with a client organisation to ensure a collaborative approach to design assurance.
  • Ability to chair and control meetings.
