ARM has partnered with a large Aerospace client who is looking for an experienced Technical Author to work out of their site based in Filton. As the Technical Author, you'll be responsible for updating and authoring the Illustrated Parts catalog, operational data, and documentation to international specifications.
Responsibilities:
* Analyse the content of repair and production drawings, technical notes, and other source data
* Provide Network/subcontract management to deliver tasks to Time/Cost /Quality
* Provide relevant data to meet customer maintenance and operational needs
* Referring complex or airworthiness issues and queries to correct areas
* Ensure that all information is communicated in line with the companies policies, processes, and procedures
* Support key strategic projects & initiatives
Experience required:
* Proven experience in authoring, verification & validation in Technical Data Manuals specifically IPC
* Good knowledge of aircraft maintenance, repair, and production processes and procedures
* Practical experience of engineering/aircraft maintenance advantageous
* Project management capability and willingness to get involved
